I’ve just spent a lazy afternoon watching Current TV and I’ve got to say that I think it’s brilliant. The basic premise of Current TV is that it’s content is user generated. This gives a wide diversity of programming, most shows don’t run for much longer than 10 minutes, that’s basically perfect for my short attention span anyway. Don’t expect anything too polished, but do expect some interesting viewing. (As a side note I’d like to find out the ratio of user-generated:current tv generated content.)
Current.tv is the only station I watch on TV anymore. I love it so much I wrote a post about it a while back, http://tinyurl.com/2pch47. I too was curious of the percentage of user generated content, and after some digging I found on their station is 30% user generated content. This was a few months ago so maybe it changed after the big redesign that they did. But I love to see people plugging Current.tv!
