The Glue Society are an award winning creative group based in Australia and New York. They’ve got some really great and thought provoking work, utilising many mediums from sculpture to video. Shown above is the sculpture named ‘Hot with the chance of a late storm’ which was entered into the Sculpture by the Sea competition in Tamarama Beach in New South Wales, Australia.

Irwin Redl’s work reflects upon the condition of art making after the “digital experience.” Translating this into real world spaces definitely makes for some interesting and abstract art works.

Shaolin: Temple of Zen is a book by Justin Guariglia depicting the Shaolin Monks, their beliefs and the incredible martial arts skills they possess. The photogrpahy is strikingly beautiful, capturing at once an immediacy of action but also an underlying calm.

Whoa, hold up Google Maps! Edushi is another mapping service provided by Aladdin Systems. The big difference here is that whole cities are rendered in pixel art. Take a look at the sample city, Hong Kong and see the amazing job these guys have done. - via PSFK

Patrick Winfield is a New York based artist who creats some amazing composite images from many different photographs.

Faesthetic is an art zine, showcasing some of the worlds finest talents. Since it’s original inception in 2001, Faesthetic has issued six other zines and issue seven is now available. The ‘Doomsday’ theme seems to have inspired some spectacular pieces by the looks of things!

There’s something really ethereal about Jim Denevan’s art. His mammoth, freehand drawings in the sand are just unbelievable.

United Visual Artists are no doubt the masters of light based installations and live visuals! Check out their site to see all the amazing projects they’ve worked on.

Tiger Magazine is a simple yet abstractly beautiful screen magazine. Created by Takeshi Hamada way back in 2000, it’s currently running at issue 33 and features a wonderful mix of art, design and photography. (Note.
