No One Belongs Here More Than You is a book of short stories written by Miranda July. The website is brilliantly irreverant and reflects the style of the book to a tee.

Covers is a nice little blog by the talented folk over at Fwis, which is all about the great book cover design. There’s also a few interesting articles written about the storage of books as well as interviews with the designers themselves.
The High Line
The High Line is an unused rail line which runs above street level through New York City. Over the years it has been reclaimed by nature with grass and other wildlife growing all along the tracks. The Friends of the High Line are a non-profit organisation dedicated to the preservation and re-use of the High Line as a public service. Unfortunately for the time being it is illegal to actually walk along it, hopefully in the future the High Line will be a place for all New Yorkers to go to enjoy the sights and sounds of the city from this unusual vatage point.
Last Night’s Garbage
Last Night’s Garbage is an interesting look at the inhabitants of New York City, through their garbage. The writing is damn hilarious as well. Definitely worth a look!

Pop!Tech seems to me like it is very similar to TED, which is by no means a bad thing. Sharing ideas and innovations in order to create a better society and world to live in seems to be one of the biggest trends in 2007. You can download pop!casts (podcasts) of many of the speakers from Pop!Tech to help understand their vision and learn more.

Ola Pehrson is a Swedish based artist whose work seems to explore a connection between the real world and computers. Shown here is a 10:1 scale model of a windows 95 desktop, filmed in real time and displayed back onto a computer monitor. Genius!
