Pimp My Logo is an awesome motion graphics initiative by Tom Hemeryk. You send in your logo in vector format and Tom will pimp it into a 2 or 3 second motion ident. Some of these idents are absolutely amazing and wouldn’t look out of place on bradcast television.

It’s that time of year again. The onedotzero motion graphics festival is once again upon us. With upcoming events in Denmark, Russia and the UK, if you’re around you should definitely get down to one to check out some of the freshest work in the industry. (Check out the trailers on Vimeo).
Overnewsed but Uninformed are a collection of brilliant infographics by Stefan Bräutigam. Seeking to show the connections between government and media outlets, so the reader can make a more informed decision about the authenticity of the news they are reading, Overnewsed but Uninformed has an informative and powerful beauty in it’s depiction of these relationships. Skate Cream is, ummm, a sculpture of a melted skateboard by New Zealand crew Po-Mo. They’ve got some pretty nice looking T-Shirts too… (Reminds me of ‘Hot with the chance of a late storm’ by The Glue Society).
These shoes are way too cute! ‘Dancing Shoes’ can be found at Secret Shop, the online store of Finnish design group Company.
WWEK (white weekend kites) is a collective researching computational forms in architecture. Some of the concepts are amazing. Definitely worth a look for those of you into generative art or futuristic architecture.
This piece from Serge Seidlitz is straight dope! This guy’s got some amazing work and a really interesting website. Well worth checking out.
