Soundscreen Design creators of music inspired books, prints, apparel and homewares have just released the fifth installment in their Musician as designer series. The shirt created by Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs features an image taken from a secret Yeah Yeah Yeahs show at the Glasslands Gallery in Brooklyn NY. Other artists featuring in the series are Eye (boredoms), Bjorn Copeland (Black Dice), Jeremy Earl (Woods), Shawn Reed (of Wet Hair), Eddie Argos (of Art Brut) and Brian Degraw (of Gang Gang Dance). These shirts are pretty limited edition of less than 100 shirts so get in quick!

They Magazine is a publication created by photographer Azita Rasoli and designer Marshall Rake. Issue 1 uses photo collages from various photoshoots combined with short fiction to create an abstract narrative.

The Lo Res Project by United Nude aims to create new design variations from objects by running a simplifying software algorithm on the original shapes. There are some very interesting outcomes to this experimentation, which includes a Lamborghini!

T-Shirts, the staple of the modern wardrobe and one item of clothing that you can never have enough of! French blog Grafitee does a great job of showcasing the latest in T design. Check out the english version here if you’re not a French speaker. (Shirts in this image by O&C).

Well, there I was the other day, minding my own business, wandering around Glebe Markets when I stumbled across Das Monk who have some of the freshest tee designs I’ve seen in a long time.

It’s a sad day when decent design blogs die and Pingmag was one of the best of them. Brilliantly written stories covering the fields of art, design, architecture, fashion and many other categories all with a Japanese twist were what made Pingmag so special. Hopefully the site stays up so you can browse the archives (which I highly suggest doing). Farewell Pingmag.

Cuprocking is a collaborative project between Mooks and Andy Uprock, showcasing cuprocking, an innovative form of (non-destructive) street art.

Skate Cream is, ummm, a sculpture of a melted skateboard by New Zealand crew Po-Mo. They’ve got some pretty nice looking T-Shirts too… (Reminds me of ‘Hot with the chance of a late storm’ by The Glue Society).
